Transgender Day of Remembrance
On November 20th, we honor Trans Day of Remembrance, holding in prayer all people who have suffered transphobic violence. As we draw attention to the continued acts of hatred that transgender and non-binary people face, we also celebrate their lives and recommit to our goals for a safer world.
We pray that our trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse siblings might know that they are made in God's image and beloved by God. Our mission at the Covenant Network of Presbyterians continues to be a more just and welcoming Church. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we work for transformed churches and communities where all people are seen, valued, and protected.Church members and ministers seeking to better understand and care for transgender people explore these resources at the intersections of our faith and identifying as transgender, gender non-binary, intersex, and more.
