Covenant Network of Presbyterians Hires Digital Media Communications Specialist
Amy Cerniglia, an inquirer for ministry and church music director living in Bradenton, FL is the Covenant Network of Presbyterians’ new digital media communications specialist.CNP created the new contract position to create web content, manage social media platforms, and publish regular email newsletters. Out of an incredibly strong pool of applicants, Amy was selected for her years of experience managing digital media communications in a faith context.A Master of Divinity student at The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, Amy is currently under care of Peace River Presbytery as an Inquirer for ordination. Before pursuing her Master of Divinity, she received a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Organ Performance from Mississippi College. At Peace Presbyterian Church in Bradenton, FL, Amy serves as Director of Music in addition to overseeing the church’s website, social media, and audio/visual needs. Her writing has been published in The Presbyterian Outlook, The American Organist, and The Hymn Society’s collection celebrating LGBTQIA+ Christians, Songs for the Holy Other.“Amy brings a passion born of understanding the reality LGBTQIA+ people face in the church.” says Brian Ellison, executive director. “She also brings incredible gifts in wrangling the technology and conveying a message through words and design.
