“‘Love Makes a Family’ has already been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people and continues to travel widely, so we knew that photographs and interviews with LGBT and allied faith leaders who support LGBT inclusion and marriage equality would be a powerful sign of hope,” said Peggy Gillespie, co-founder of Family Diversity Projects. “So much of the destructive and vocal homophobia and transphobia is faith-based, so we wanted to present the pro-LGBT side of the faith world.”WE HAVE FAITH features interviews and photographs of renowned LGBT and allied clergy including Bishop Gene Robinson, Bishop Yvette Flunder, Dr. Michael Adee, Rev. Dr. Patrick Cheng, Rev. Rebecca Voelkel, The Very Rev. Katherine Ragsdale, Rev. Canon Mally Lloyd, Rev. Dr. Dennis Wiley, Rev. Dr. Christine Wiley, Rabbi Steve Greenberg, Imam Daayiee Abdullah, Rev. Darlene Garner, Rev. Candy Holmes, Rev. Jane Spahr, Pastor Bradley Schmeling, Rev. Dr. Harry Knox, and many others.WE HAVE FAITH was created by journalist Peggy Gillespie and photographer Gigi Kaeser of Family Diversity Projects (FDP).
