Committees of the General Assembly committees, meeting in Minneapolis, reported favorably on all business the Covenant Network recommended in our recent Board Statement and other recommendations.
The full General Assembly, now meeting all together in plenary session, has already passed the recommendations to add the Belhar Confession to the Book of Confessions, and to adopt a considerably revised New Form of Government. Both of these actions will go to presbyteries for their discussion and vote.
The G.A. also authorized the current Special Committee on the Heidelberg Catechism to continue working with the Reformed Church of America and the Christian Reformed Church in North America to review a new translation to be presented to the 2012 G.A.
